Principal's Message

Welcome to RJO!

RJO Intermediate School is home to 4th and 5th grade students. Our dedicated faculty and staff provide a fun, challenging, and supportive academic program for all students. We are proud of our close partnerships with families, which allow us to work together to help children develop life-long skills and a love of learning.

We provide positive examples for all students through setting and modeling high expectations and attainable goals. Our fully-stocked intermediate level library, STEAM lab, flat panels, smart boards, and 1:1 Chromebooks for every student connect us to the outside world, making research and digital learning key components of our program. We prioritize communication and the development of strong learning and organizational skills that help us to provide our students with a bridge between their elementary and secondary years. Our school hosts many clubs and events throughout the year, which aim to encourage our students to explore their interests. With added assistance from the school’s very active Parent Faculty Organization, our students also have access to numerous exciting assembly programs and social events.

Our school is so much more than just classrooms. This school year will be one filled with opportunities to explore and grow with activities that excite and encourage students to become a true part of the RJO family!
